Olympic Valley Stables
Historical Squaw Valley Stables located in Olympic Valley offers a front row view of Palisades Tahoe Ski area and wild flower meadow. The Ranch style property is an outdoor tented rustic venue in the heart of Olympic Valley with immediate access to the village at Palisades lodging amenities, complete resort activities and minutes from Lake Tahoe’s North and West shores.
The property boasts a beautiful canvas and wood pole swale tent for reception parties up to 300 guests. The memory of what was once a very bustling wrangler operation lives-on with the Valley’s only private reception venue. The freedom to create your unique reception feel is open.

Located in the Lost Sierra Mountain town of Graeagle, one hour from Truckee and Reno, the Graeagle Corner Barn is a classic in Plumas counties Mohawk Valley. With a capacity to host up to 500 guests, the barn offers indoor and outdoor accommodations. The restored rustic post and beam ranch barn comes complete with a bar “shed” tables, chairs, heaters, wine barrels, etc. The venue rental includes barn and property for 3 days. Allowing ample time to set up your wedding, rehearse and entertain the event!
The barn is available from May to late-October.
Harvey Ranch a unique venue located in the Sierra Valley, one of the last working ranches in the valley! It is completely off the grid while nestled on the edge of the meadow, surrounded by tall mature pines. We pride ourselves in helping you create memories of a lifetime!
There is a beautiful granite outcropping that is a backdrop for our outdoor kitchen and patio area that adds to the venue. A cedar rough sawn post and beam pavilion sits at the edge of our pond with a large meadow back drop.
Ehrman Mansion at Sugar Pine Point State Park
West Shore’s Ehrman Mansion is a historic wedding venue. The Mansion was a summer home built in 1903 and is now managed as a museum by the state of California. The reception area/mansion sits in the center of Sugar Pine Point State Park with expansive lake views, a public pier and nearly two miles of lake frontage. Reserve early as dates for this approachable venue are secured well in advance.

Meeks Bay Resort /Kehlet Mansion
Perched on a point surrounded by the aqua marine waters of Meeks Bay the Kehlet Mansion is a rustic Tahoe oasis. The rustic home is a perfect staging area for outdoor receptions. The bridal party can stay on site with additional lodging, camping and log cabins at the resort. This location is one your guests and family will remember for its simple beauty. The patio paver reception area can either be tented or open air. The property offers a unique pier overlooking the water absolutely stunning for ceremonies and photo opportunities.
Mourelatos Resort
Located in Tahoe Vista on the sandy North Shore beach. Mourelatos Lakeshore Resort offers an ideal location for a destination Lake Tahoe reception and ceremony. The resort offers guest lodging and allows for outdoor reception parties when the wedding party reserves all the Lakeview guest rooms. Outdoor tenting in the courtyard area and ceremony on the beach is the best scenario. Considering the advance reservations needed and annual returning guests, the best time to plan a reception with this property is in the early fall/Indian summer or early June before the summer tourism season is upon us.
Skylandia Beach
The Locals secret! The parks group area might just be the perfect spot to host your wedding or rehearsal bbq. Expansive lake view wood chipped reception area above the water. Easy access to the beach for family, friends and photos.
The Pavilion on the Point
Truckee’s Donner Lake Pavilion on the point is a picturesque lakeside venue for your wedding reception, rehearsal or family reunion. The large grassed group area and beach has always been a locals choice.
Sand Harbor Ramada
Mountain Magic has catered so many classic Lake Tahoe events at the park, remaining a favorite of ours simply due to the impressive and relaxed summer setting.
North Tahoe Beach
This lakeside venue in the heart of Kings Beach is perfect for rehearsals, family reunions and under 75 super relaxed paper product receptions. The park feature se lake and mountain views with a beautiful stretch of sand beach.

Once the dream of many a homesteader, this unique 160 acre-property was initially home to Pompey Pedrini, who was granted homestead rights by President William McKinely in 1862. Although Pompey was not interested in today’s wedding or tourist industry he fancied mining and lumber. Homeowners thereafter searched for retreat and serenity as Dr. Deepak Chopra found investment in this beautiful land and lodge tucked away from crowds, noise and light pollution!
The sound of silence is deafening! Historically, present day, this land remains a homestead. Mountain Magic respects and appreciates this rich heritage and offers you The Lodge at Mountain Magic to have and to hold your Wedding celebration or retreat and escape from modern day!

Mountain Magic offers considerable insight into the planning of your Lake Tahoe wedding or catered event, pulling from our many active years of catering all types of parties, large gatherings and receptions. Mountain Magic is there for you as your caterer answering your initial and lead-in questions, helping to point you in the right direction. Finding your location, rentals and DJ or photographer, can be tough if you do not know anyone in the area. Please review our preferred event referrals to help you decide.

LOCATION CATERING LAKE TAHOE, TRUCKEE AND THE LOST SIERRA
Mountain Magic includes a complete on-site tented catering kitchen set up in our services. We do not require access to a home or event-space kitchen. Inclusive of our custom catering trailers with full-size convection ovens, flattop griddles, lava rock grills, whisper generators and open flame burners.
Our proposals provide set-up, chef, staff and everything else necessary to serve and present either a buffet station/plated/appetizers or family style reception.
