"Chocolate lovers thronged the Tahoe Biltmore last Saturday
for the ever more popular annual benefit for Tahoe Women's Services
and their Safe House....
....And a tip of the NALC hat to the imagination and painstaking
craftmanship of Mountain Magic Catering chef Peter Bowers,
who presented his Belgian bittersweet chocolate sabayone in
scooped-out eggshell cups hand-dyed with a pastry brush to a festive
Easter pink., each one furnished with a little almond tuille that
could be enjoyed to the last crumb after doing duty as a
spoon...."
