Located above the north shore of lovely Lake Tahoe, the CHESHIRE ESTATE in Tahoe Vista, CA, offers exquisite views of the lake, distant snow-capped mountain peaks, and the ski areas of Heavenly Valley and Diamond Peak. The CHESHIRE ESTATE is ten minutes from the North Star Ski Area, the casinos of Incline Village, NV, and fifteen minutes from the charming western town of Truckee, CA. This unique property offers a private site for weddings, film projects, corporate retreats and other events. The CHESHIRE ESTATE was one of six homes to be featured in the 2004 North Shore Garden Tour. The front yard has a 1400 square foot quartzite patio which has wide stairs leading down to an emerald green lawn surrounded by a low rock wall and colorful annuals and perennials. A waterfall splashes merrily into a pond and a large carved bear sculpture stands watch. A stand of aspen and evergreen trees surround the property insuring a peaceful, private mountain experience. The rental for an event includes the use of the grounds as well as the patio level kitchen, bedroom, and two bathrooms. This is perfect for caterers and wedding consultants as they will have use of the grounds from the afternoon before the ceremony to the following evening. No rush, plenty of time to make sure everything is perfect for your wedding.
