Mountain Magic Catering teamed up with New Zealand's Allan Scott Wines. They presented
for a "Taste of Tjornedala." A Swedish Coastal Town with it's Fish
Market as the setting.The Hors d'oeuvre
Gravlad Lox (cured salmon) marinated in eau de vie "Folle Blanche," by the
Armagnac House, Tariquet. This was gently placed on a fluffy blini with a mustard sauce
that was married with Allan Scott's Autumn Riesling. A sprinkling of Osetra Caviar from
Tsar Nicoulai of San Francisco was added!

Allan Scott Winery,
Marlborough, South Island, New Zealand. Allan Scott's 1999 Sauvignon Blanc was the perfect
foil for our rich hors d'oeuvre. Slicing through the combination of caviar, gravlax and
its sauce. The elegance and freshness of this wine made the pairing a match!
